This is the 1000th post on Crawford House.  Wow!

I started the blog on March 7, 2005, so we'll be turning six shortly.  Six years ago, I was working elsewhere (a short hiatus from The Firm), and I wasn't even pregnant with JTC yet.  Life was simpler.  Much.  Simpler.

I have been so glad to have the blog to go back and remember and reference.  I've made some wonderful friends through blogging.

I've tried to think of my favorite post to share, but I can't really narrow it down from these three:

JTC's Birth: All the Gory Details
JTC laughs
AJC's Birth: All the Gory Details

In honor of my 1000th post, I think I'll do a giveaway.  I am a notorious gift card hoarder, so I think I'll send one lucky commenter a random bunch of gift cards.  Warning: some have "leftover" balances.  I'll make sure at least one is a nice surprise, though. =)

To enter, just leave a comment.  I'll use Random.org to pick a winner on Friday.  In your comment, please share your favorite Crawford House post or memory.  No need to link if that's a hassle. =)

Happy 1000th post Lindsay! That's crazy!

I've only been reading your blog for a short while, so I'll say that my favorite recent post is the cookie cake, because I love Paradise Bakery and birthdays! :)

I hope your weather calms down and you can get back to work and the rest of your life!

I've been reading your blog from day one! My favorite post is...every new one! I love seeing pictures of "my boys" (and, occasionally, mom and dad)! Okay, I'm your blog stalker, and I'm your Mom! (I probably gave you some of those gift cards!)

I love reading your blog!! I love that I always know what has been going on with you and we can keep in touch through the years and distance! My favorite post would be Nov. 2009 - our reunion together near Austin! I love the memories that we made that weekend - reminds me how thankful I am for friends and for you!!

Lindsay, I love your "gumbos" and "Phone Photo Fridays" blogs. I know that's not exactly specific, but I just love reading about your awesome family...so I can't pick just one favorite. ;)

I guess I started reading your blog shortly after our youngest were born. I liked your series on your church as well as your thoughts on school. It is fun to see what your boys are doing since they are the same ages as my girls.

My favorite post was the video of JTC throwing the ball with daddy when our May '06 lo's were still babies. Seems like forever ago! LOVE your blog!

Because you are a fellow auburn hair, ponytail-rocking, hot mama!

Happy 1000!!! I know you said you would use a random generator...but yo, in case you haven't heard, my birthay's coming up ;)

Ha, I'm terrible, I know!

1000 posts? That's hardcore dude. Congrats!

My favorite post? Can I go with my favorite theme? I love your gumbo posts. You mix up so many different topics in them, and I especially love when I cute little one line gem pops up.

I don't want to win but I would say my favorite post of all time is when you met that awesome blogger, THE Laura Case for the first time.

Wow - 1000? That is awesome! I guess I've been reading your blog from pretty much the beginning. I don't have a single favorite post, because my favorites are your Gumbos. I love hearing about all of the everyday little happenings in your world - they seem to decrease the physical distance between us. :)
