- Bryan and JTC are out running around. AJC is napping. Hey - I should BLOG!
- I got my iPhone on Friday. Yippee! The Firm is now supporting them (through an app called Good), so I happily said goodbye to my Blackberry. Bryan is happy to inherit my ipod Touch.
- Katie and I went to see Black Swan at Studio Movie Grill on Friday. Weird, weird movie, but Natalie Portman was AMAZING. If you see it, please e-mail me and explain it!
- Thursday, Becky took me to lunch at Blue Fish for my birthday, and the boys and I met LauraE and the girls at the mall for playing and dinner. What an awesome day!
- Are you thinking, "isn't it busy season?" Yes, yes it is. Everything that I "own" that should have hit last week got pushed to this week. I took advantage of that to do some pre-birthday celebrating and pre-crazy-busy errands like getting my hair cut. I have eleven projects set to hit this week. (Each project is about 20 hours of effort between me and a low-level person.)
- I am excited about the upcoming seasons of The Amazing Race (all-stars!) and Survivor (Rob and Russell!)
- My friend, Bobbie, left a dark chocolate orange on my doorstep this week. Isn't that sweet? And Bryan found them online and got three for my birthday! Score!
- JTC is doing SO MUCH BETTER at keeping his pants dry lately. And there I went and jinxed it. So far, though, only two wet days in January!
- Bryan is not traveling this week for the first time in months. Besides just having him here, I look forward to not making the morning daycare run. It's the little things in life...
- The Golden Globes are tonight. So I don't feel like a total couch potato, I plan to watch at least part of it from the treadmill. When did I become this person who MUST multitask at all times? Sometimes, I miss Lazy Me. Or at least the freedom to be Lazy Me.
- Talk is starting to brew over the time/date of this year's May '06 Mommy meet-up. If you're not in the loop and want to be, let me know!
- Our pastor announced last week that he is going to retire in June. I will miss him a lot, and I'm praying that our new one will be a good fit, whoever he is. I'm nervous.
- I wonder if I should wake AJC up from his nap. He didn't go down until about 3, but it's after 5, and he's usually in bed around 7:30. Hmmm... sometimes it's better not to wake the sleeping beast.

I didn't know you watch Survivor. My first cousin's girlfriend is going to be on the show.
More to the story. My first cousin (Christopher, mom's brother's son) was adopted at a young age. He is 6'8", african american, and played basketball for Notre Dame. His girlfriend Ashley also played professional basketball and she was Miss Maine last year in the Miss USA pageant.
I am SO glad that you had days to play before the big rush of work! Don't forget to take breaks for yourself next week, so you don't lose the glow of this week. Love you!
