Of course, I immediately texted him that it had arrived. He "tried" to play it off, but no such luck. Later in the evening, he tried to tell me I couldn't have it until my birthday in January, but I have an earlier text to prove that he gave me permission to open it if I want to. So far, I've just put it innocently under the tree.
So be warned! If you are secretly buying a Kindle for someone else, order multiple items so Amazon will put them in a larger box. Or have it shipped to an alternate location!
Thanks, Love! I can't wait to play with it!
Edited to add: I just received this e-mail from my mom... Ha!
Hypothetically speaking…say your secret santa had an e-reader to return, but said secret santa really wants it for him/herself…but secret santa is somewhat concerned that his/her secret santa might be getting him/her an e-reader for Christmas/birthday combo, your secret santa would need to know that in order to make the decision on whether or not to return your secret santa gift.
BTW, your secret santa might have bought the green cover you asked for…wonder if your secret santa should still give that to you.

Yay! That's so exciting. You have crazy strong will power to put it under the tree! LOL
Hmmm...your secret santa will have to make some returns :(
Oh no! Sorry Secret Santa!
LOL! Sounds like Santa is delivering lots of Kindles this year. He better not skip my house...
Now, how do I tell Andy about this shipping problem?
