I hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween! Our festivities started Thursday at the daycare carnival. The boys had a blast playing the games in each room and showing their friends their race car driver costumes. Friday, they got to wear their costumes to school all day. Aren't they cute? Charlie wore these when he was 3 and 4. =)
Saturday, JTC had his last t-ball game for the season. We had so much fun and will definitely play again in the Spring if he is still interested.
The boys and I went out to Tara's after lunch for spend some time and get haircuts. Unfortunately, Daddy was sick (Mommy was getting there). AJC did not nap, but he nearly fell asleep on Autumn's lap watching cartoons. We went super short with AJC's hair, and it is SO CUTE! I'm still growing out JTC's if Daddy doesn't lose patience with it.
Also Saturday: the Aggies won, the Rangers won, and Baylor beat Texas. Besides feeling so sick, Bryan was enjoying the sports day!
Sunday we took turns napping and kid-wrangling, trying to beat the crud so we could enjoy Halloween. We ended up splitting duty: Bryan stayed home to hand out candy while I got to take the boys to Katie and Mark's for Halloween fun and trick-or-treating.
Granny was at Katie and Mark's this weekend, so it was great fun to see her. The boys played and played together (LOUDLY!), then we had a fun, spooky dinner. Katie made (in addition to yummy BBQ sandwiches and salad), mummy dogs, cheesy fingers, bones with blood, and spider web dip. (Check out this GREAT accumulation of Halloween food ideas!) We went Trick-or-Treating a Grandpa and Gigi's house first, then visited one of their friends down the street. Then we went to Katie and Mark's old neighborhood where they really do it up for Halloween. The boys had a blast: JTC and Charlie ran from house to house while Luke and AJC followed in the wagon. The little boys did pretty well at going up to the houses, too!
We went to one neighbor's when we got home, then headed off to bed. This sick Mommy was worn out. To make up for it, we haven't even left the house today. AJC and I both took naps, and JTC got in some quality quiet time. I've said "yes" almost every time he's asked for candy. I hope it's been fun for him because it stops tomorrow!

We are sick here too. Sucks.
The kiddos are too cute in the race outfits!
Michael wore the same costume as AJC when he was 2. Looks like fun!
I love the race costumes! Hope you get well soon!
L, your boys are just beautiful! I am WOW!!! I love the costumes, but think that the boys inside them are two of the cutest I have ever seen.
