Lindsay and Bryan got a surprise Saturday night when her water broke...eleven days before the due date! At 8:27 a.m. on Sunday, May 7, James Thomas Crawford was born, weighing 7 lb. 3 oz and measuring 19.5 inches! He is just a perfect little doll, and we all spent the rest of the day just amazed at God's miracle. Lindsay was feeling pretty good when I left them at the hospital last night, though both parents were really tired from being up all night and day.
The name Thomas comes from Bryan's grandfather on his mother's side, and the name James is significant in both Lindsay's and Bryan's families, including Bryan's paternal grandfather, Lindsay's step-grandfather, Lindsay's great uncle, and her cousin. Linz and Bryan think James's nickname will be JT, which we all think is great!
They'll be in Room 469 in Plano Presby until Tuesday morning. Calls and visitors are welcome. I'll be staying a week or two with them.
We'll post a picture when Bryan gets home.
